1960年卡爾蔡司公司（Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH） 開始設計和制造原子吸收光譜儀, 在Analytik Jena 全面接管其分析儀器業務后于1998年推出全自動微機控制原子吸收光譜儀AAS vario 6, 2002 年推出AAS novAA 400（原為Vario 6） 該儀器首先實現自動固體樣品分析, 結合橫向加熱石墨爐技術、快速火焰/石墨爐原子化器切換技術，從而開辟了原子吸收光譜技術嶄新的發展方向。同年，Analytik Jena收購了原PE公司在德國的原子吸收制造基地，包括全套的生產線和研發隊伍。

2000年，推出AAS Zeenit 600/650型石墨爐原子吸收光譜儀，除了繼續保持橫向加熱石墨爐這個傳統優勢之外，該儀器實現了液體/固體石墨爐原子吸收光譜分析，結合3磁場交變塞曼效應背景扣除技術，可變磁場強度為0.1...1特斯拉, zui高的交變塞曼調諧頻率達300Hz, 使其成為世界上*的石墨爐原子吸收光譜儀。

2004年，推出了Zeenit 700型*火焰－石墨爐聯用原子吸收光譜儀，該儀器是目前所有同類產品中配置zui高，技術*的型號，包括了“橫向加熱石墨爐技術”、“三磁場塞曼和氘空心陰極燈雙扣背景”、“固體進樣技術”、“Zeiss光學技術”等耶拿所有*技術。

同年，AJ公司還推出了連續光源原子吸收光譜儀contrAA，不用更換空心陰極燈、不用預熱，這是原子吸收光譜歷*劃時代的革命！這也意味著AJ公司站在了原子光譜技術的前沿！
