 Heated Microscope Stages for 35mm petri dishes
Ready to use temperature controlled stage for standard petri dishes. Comes with adapters for common brand 35mm dishes, including glass bottom dishes. In order to eliminate temperature gradient, the dish is heated from the bottom. Optical clearance is 15mm diameter. If larger clearance is required, the heater for glass coverslips should be used. The petri dish can remain covered during observation. Built-in temperature sensor for temperature stability and overheating protection. An external temperature probe of temperature controllers can be positioned inside the dish if needed （includes a miniature holder to position the sensor）. Requires a microscope adapter （specify microscope model when ordering）. Requires a temperature controller.
Note: This heater is well suited for glass bottom dishes for use with any optics. However, some plastic Petri dishes have a protruding rim on the bottom, which elevates the dish above the surface. The included metal shims and thermal compound are used to eliminate this gap. This allows you to use the heater with regular plastic Petri dishes as well, provided long-distance optics is used. Due to the elevated positioning of the dish, the effective optical clearance might be decreased if used with Plastic dish and oil immersion optics. For this configuration, 35mm clearance heater is recommended.
