Description
The model GA50 analysis instrument is a cost-effective
solution for determining the concentration of SF6 gas in SF6
gas-filled equipment. This analysis allows for the indirect
determination of contaminations in SF6 gas such as air or
CF4.
The GA50 is calibrated for the measurement of pure SF6 gas
or SF6/N2 mixtures. The instrument can also be calibrated for
SF6/CF4 mixtures on request.
Fast and safe
The GA50 was developed for the fast and accurate measurement
of SF6 gas. With its automatic pressure and flow
control, the measurement is reproducible and erroneous
measurement is eliminated.
The determined concentration is expressed as a percentage
and can be read directly from the touchscreen during the
measurement.
SF6-Purity-Meter
Environmentally friendly
The test gas should be intermediay stored at the outlet of
the GA50 with a gas recovery bag so that the environmentally
hazardous SF6 gas does not escape into the surrounding
atmosphere.
Once the recovery bag is full, the SF6 gas can be pumped
back into a gas cylinder using a model GTU-10 gas transfer
unit and subsequently recycled or, depending on the gas
quality, be reused directly.
