多克隆抗體
抗原通常是由多個抗原決定簇組成的，由一種抗原決定簇刺激機體，由一個B淋巴細胞接受該抗原所產生的抗體稱之為單克隆抗體（Monclone antibody）。由多種抗原決定簇刺激機體，相應地就產生各種各樣的單克隆抗體，這些單克隆抗體混雜在一起就是多克隆抗體（Polyclonal antibody），機體內所產生的抗體就是多克隆抗體。
由于多克隆抗體通常包含抗某一抗原的不同表位的抗體，所以，在深固定的樣本中也會很好地發揮效應，在石蠟包埋組織切片的染色中，多克隆抗體常選用。根據實驗的不同需要，多多克隆抗體應用于相應抗原的標記。此外，在農業生產中，多克隆抗體被用于農藥殘留現場監測；在臨床應用中，多克隆抗體主要用于病原物的檢測、疾病的診斷及治療，如作為蛋白類免疫抑制劑用于移植反應和自身免疫病的治療。
